Blood clot in leg or arm
Legs and the arms are the most common place where generally blood clot may occur. Presence of blood clot in such places may have various symptoms, that includes:

- Tenderness
- Reddish discoloration
- A warm sensation
Based on the clot size, the symptoms will also change accordingly hence you may not show any symptoms, or sometimes have only minor calf swelling but not so much of pain. In case you have large clot then your entire leg may get swollen with pain.
Blood clot in your heart
If you have blood clot in heart then you may have heart attack. Usually heart may be less common location to have blood clot, but possibility is there. Your chest to heart may have heavy sensation and there may be shortness of breath.
Blood clot in your abdomen
If there is severe abdominal pain with swelling then it is a symptom of blood clot present somewhere in the abdomen.
Blood clot in your lungs

- Sudden shortness of your breath which is not caused by exercise

Blood clot in brain
If there is blood clot in brain then it will be called as stroke. Blood clot in brain may cause sudden headache which will be severe, along with few other symptoms, including difficulties in speaking or seeing.
